Live Artfully...a goal I try to achieve myself that ends in one big colorful mess involving a chaotic spin...something that my soul thrives on.

Inspiration...I start with a word or a phrase and expand from there. Almost all of my art includes one. A direction. An idea. A path. A thought. I want people to look at my art and find their happy place...everyday. To feel like they have a passion, a purpose, a mission, while adding color to their world on a daily basis. My soul thrives on vibrant colors dripping into other colors to make new ones. Simple objects such as a tree, a bird, a little girl, a guitar, a flower or a heart.

Like a child discovering color and exploring, my creative process involves paper (but not always), acrylic paint, random dripping techniques and the use of a word or a phrase.

Life is not meant to be planned out. Nor is life perfect. Life is meant to be an adventure; therefore each piece I create is an adventure.

Oh...one more thing, since I am a wife to one and mother of four little girls, my life revolves around constant chaos - is life suppose to be any other way?!? It is through my own chaos, the love from my family and friends and the experiences that I encounter on a daily basis that drive my creativity. I feel it is important that we all be reminded to live artfully, be thankful for who we are and what we have, to be inspired on a daily basis and to express ourselves through creativity. My goal is to make both art and happiness a habit!
